İnnocence, a fragile dream, now bleeds,
A crimson stain on fields where joy once bloomed.
Eyes of wonder, shadowed by a world that feeds
On silence, as young laughter is consumed.
For what transgression, tell us, must they pay,
These tiny souls, their futures cruelly torn?
A silent question drips in sorrow’s spray,
As hope itself, in darkest hues, is worn.
No tears can wash the horror from the land,
No solace whispers for the lives laid low.
Just crimson sorrow, held within a weary hand,
A silent scream, for all the world to know.
It stands as a stark testament to a “broken heart” and the unacknowledged “pain of children,” a world “set ablaze by war’s harsh flame,” where, tragically, “no one cares, no one feels the shame.”
