I am Georgia Asti from Greece. I am a visual artist, working with photography and collage — two mediums that help me make sense of the world around me and inside me. I started taking photos as a way of holding onto moments that felt quiet but meaningful, and I love the way light touches water, the stillness before sunset, the colors that shift and disappear almost too quickly. Over time, I began combining these images into collages, layering them to explore memory, emotion, and the passing of time. Nature is a big part of what draws me in — not grandly or dramatically, but in small, everyday scenes that often go unnoticed. I’m interested in how an image can carry a feeling, how it can say something without needing too many words. My work is guided by intuition more than rules; I usually start with a feeling or a color and let it lead me. Taking part in the Digi-Helicon exhibition is something new for me. it’s the first time I’m sharing my collage work with a wider audience. It feels both exciting and a little vulnerable, but also like a natural next step.
Moments of truth and lies
The piece I’m showing is called “Moments of truth and lies” (photo-collage) and it’s about transitions: the world between light and dark, between outer landscapes and inner thoughts. It’s quiet, but a lot is going on beneath the surface…
