I am participating in this exhibition because I love baking – especially cakes and sweet pastries. It brings me great joy to bake for my family, friends, and acquaintances. Over time, baking has become more than just a hobby – it has turned into a true passion.

My goal is to turn this passion into a small business. I would like to earn money doing what I love – working with joy and enthusiasm. Taking part in this exhibition is a wonderful opportunity for me to showcase my creations and take the first steps toward self-employment.

Honigkuchen (Medowik

The honey cake, also known as Medovik, is a traditional Eastern European layered cake known for its delicate flavor and tender texture. It consists of multiple thin honey-based layers that are spread with a creamy filling made from sour cream or a light buttercream. Once assembled, the cake is chilled for several hours or overnight, allowing the flavors to meld and the cake to become especially moist. The honey gives the cake a pleasant aroma, while the cream provides a balanced sweetness. Honey cake is a beloved dessert often enjoyed during holidays and special occasions.
