I have been singing for over 30 years in various artistic ensembles, especially in choirs, and I also work with children in the field of singing. Ukrainian song art deeply inspires me — it is an expression of soul and culture. Participating in the DIGI HELICON virtual exhibition is a wonderful opportunity for me to share this music with the world — especially in times when art can be a voice for peace. I also want to develop my digital skills and grow as an artist in today’s European context.
“Oi luli,luli…”
This is an old Ukrainian lullaby. It sounds tender and gentle, yet carries a deep, almost sorrowful meaning.
In this song, you feel a mother’s fear of a world that is not always kind — and her attempt to protect her child through singing. It is a song about love and vulnerability. About a mother who sings to make the world a safer place — even if only for a moment.
