I am a young woman coming from Greece. I am an amateur artist, I have been dancing for quite a few years and I am also drawing the past few months. I really believe that any kind of art can have an impact on the people who experience it, in any way. I wanted to be part of DIGI HELICON virtual exhibition to share my perspective on women empowerment. Many pieces of my drawing are trying to highlight that women are powerful and this power comes from within.

The beginning of life

Our life begins in the uterus. We start growing, all of these thousands of years and stages of our evolution, we experience them in 9 months. For us, women, many everyday feelings, behaviours and thoughts might just come from our uterus, from nature. Our center of power and weakness is there. Remember, though, you were given nature’s power to give life. Don’t let anyone or anything make you feel weak. Weakness is not about how many times you fall, but how many times you get your pieces back together and stand back up.
