Artist for over 30 years, I want to understand how the art market has been invaded by parasites who don’t think about its development, but rather about enriching themselves by making artists even poorer. The business models of the digital industry are sometimes deceptive…
This is america

In this work, I wanted to translate my vision of American chaos, that permanent turmoil where order and disorder meet, where tension is everywhere, and yet from which the extraordinary can sometimes arise. The regular grid I used symbolizes this rigid structure, this codified system that attempts to contain the effervescence of a society in perpetual turmoil.
I chose straightforward, almost brutal colors: red for passion, anger and sometimes blood, and blue for the apparent calm, the depth that covers invisible wounds. These hues clash, overlap and sometimes cancel each other out, reflecting the constant opposition between violence and beauty, destruction and creation.
The fragments, the windows, the disjointed zones tell the story of the multiple, fragmented America that I witness. Nothing is ever completely ordered, everything is movement and conflict. But in the midst of this chaos, there remain these white spaces, these breaths, these possibilities. This is where the extraordinary can emerge, where new ideas and artistic brilliance are created.
Through this composition, I seek to capture the constant tension and unique ability of this country to generate genius out of confusion, to give birth to the unexpected within din.
