COMTE Véronique
Inhabited by color and details, I take inspiration from nature and my trips to transcribe my memories and emotions. I use different techniques to express myself such as acrylic, watercolour and drawing. I like to play with colors and to mix them together, working on contrasts and transparency.
Jardin de cactus, Lanzarote

This work was inspired by a trip to Lanzarote, to the Jardín de Cactus. It is an interpretation of Mexican cacti, the chosen colors a reminder of the plant and the sea of Lanzarote, the drawing expressing a detail of the plant. I very much like mixing the two techniques, to not tell everything, to navigate between abstraction and figuration.
